ml110 g4 RAM
Hi,
I have a couple of HP Proliant ML110 G4 servers on different sites and am looking at upgrading the RAM. My question is they will be running windows server 2003 R2 SP2, so will only reconise 4GB of RAM. However if I put 8GB in, will it get used by anything in the background by the server itself or is it a waste of time?
Thanks
Andy

Re: ml110 g4 RAM
Waste of time.
Server 2003 x64 would use it however. Also you'd only see a benefit if your software used it too.
JB.
