proliant 1600 non boot from diskette

I update a proliant 1600 P08 with two processors 500 Mghz.
I can't boot from diskette or CD-ROM for
start System Utilities Tool.

The switch 4 is in the position OFF (disable Diskette)

Appears error 172 non-volatile memory

There is a Security Feature "Diskette Boot Control" - Purpose "Prevents startup from diskette drive" - Established from "Security Management" in the BIOS.

Did you try to change the switch to allow the floppy? Sometimes if you change hardware or disable (remove cable) something you can get the system to look for the system configuration disk.
