proliant dl 360 g2 powering down on its own
I have an Proliant DL360 that I recently purchased. I installed Win 2003 server and the server powers down after a couple hours running, it is in a well cool area so I do not feel that it is overheating... Please help

Re: proliant dl 360 g2 powering down on its own
Your symptom deserves further investigation. If the server stays up for hours before going down, there must be a part failing or heating up. If you have HP diags installed, look carefully at the logs, and run the diag when the server first gets to desktop, after it has been off for a few hours. Your key to solving the problem will be looking at the temp monitor on various components.
