pxe booting a ML570 g3
I am trying to pxe boot a ML570 g3 server, and i cant seem to get it to work on the first onboard nic (broadcom). If I use the second onboard nic and change the irq so it doesn't confilct with the p600 controller it seems to work. has anyone seen this, or know of a fix.
Server config
ML570 g3
P600 controller
2 onboard nics
1 dual port hba fc2243
1 quad intel nic

Re: pxe booting a ML570 g3
I have a different configuration, an ML570 G3 with SA-6402, and it successfully PXE-boots using the first NC7782...not that this helps you much.
Have you tried the latest version of the ML570 G3 BIOS?

Re: pxe booting a ML570 g3
Yes,I updated the firmware. I still can't pxe boot off the first nic. I can off the second. it seems to be an irq conflict. If I change the irq on the first nic the irq on the p600 controller also changes to the same number.

Re: pxe booting a ML570 g3
And you're doing the obvious stuff like enabling PXE for the first NIC and maybe changing the boot order, etcetera?
