raid array failure, help to reset on new card
dueing the christmas break my prolient ml370 g2 server failed.
haveing traced the problem to the compaq pci raid card, i have replaced it with an on-board smart array 5i.
the OS now blue screens on boot ("in-acessable boot device"), and suggests to run chkdsk /f, scan for viruses or remove any new disks or controlers.
the OS is windows 2000 server and i have tryed safe mode(blue screened) and the repair console (adding the compaq drivers from disk) and still i can not get the OS to load.
has anyone got any advice or experiance on getting the system back online, i really dont want to have to wipe it and start again.
many thanks,
