set up default on 2003R2 proliant server

I selected the "minimum" size partition that is the default for the c: drive (about 8gb). There are 2 160GB drives. After completing the setup and rebooting I checked for and installed updates. I have only 80mb of space left and not all of the updates will upload due to lack of space. I have not loaded any data from the old server and have all unallocated space available. I have checked into this and it seems I will have to reload server 2003 or buy a partition software for $150. Is this the only way out of this?
