temperature violation problem on ml350G4p
Hi All,
A week back i purchased a Hp proliant ml350G4p server it worked fine for a week. but suddenly since yestarday it got rebooted and started giving this error at the POST.
1610 temperature violation and system will reboot in 5 min.
the server is with following config
Xeon 3.0 ghz processor,
1gb mem
smart array conntroller
72x3 hot plug hdd
Has anyboody faced this problem,
Appreciate a quick response.

Call HP service, this is known issue. I think, some replacement needed.

Thanks.
After reporting it to Hp, they got the processor Heatsink and the fan replaced.
If its a known issue with this model hp should replace it before shiping the server.
As this server was in production, i had to bare a huge loss for the down time. and i hope this same problem will not repeat again
