update firmware for SCSI drives, how to?

when i boot to the HP Firmware Maintainence CD v8.0? on either of our HP servers (9 scsi drives total) it indicates the drive firware is up to date. do i need to reflash these drives using the new firmware on a floppy, or am i done?
example: i see drives that are on the "affected" list showing firmaware HPB5 while booted to the HP Firmware Maintainence CD. is the new firmware also named similarly HPB5(c)? isn't this firmware already ON the cd, and shouldn't the cd software tell me if i need to update any firmware?

should these drives be reflashed using new firmware on a floppy while booted to the HP Firmware Maintainence CD? (i'm downloading v8.10 now)

Heyya Mike,

If you are booting from the latest firmware maintenance CD 8.0 & it says the HDD firmware is up-to-date... then there is no need to do anything separately.
