3091 w/ IBM Serveraid 3H controller

I have a 3092 storage unit that I want to use with my IBM serveraid controller. When it is conected to my non-raid adaptec card it sees all seven drives and can access them fine. Drives are listed as SCSI ID's 0-6. When I use it with the Serveraid card it sees it as a stand by SCSI device on SCSI ID 12 channel 1 (the channel is correct). When I get info on SCSI ID 12 the card tells me it is a compaqproliant cpu in stand by. What gives? I can pole ID's 0-6 and the lights on the drives blink but return a no device error.

Help.

Sorry , you may need to contact IBM on that one . Could be the only way the BIOS in the Server or SCSI controller can identify the Compaq device .
