HP Smart Array P410i Controller Replacement Recovery
Hi All
Im using an HP SMart Array P410 controller card in a non HP server.
Yesterday one of the drives failed.
I replaced the drive and pressed F1 to start automatic recovery.
There is no way for me to see the progress of the recovery? It just boots back into Vmware but my VM's wont start anymore.
Where can I see the progress of the disc recovery?
Im running ESXi 5.5
Thank you.

Re: HP Smart Array P410i Controller Replacement Recovery
Hard to tell for a non HP server.
Can you press F8 during boot to go into the config tool?
Did you replace the disk offline?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: HP Smart Array P410i Controller Replacement Recovery
HI Torsten
Yes I can get into the config tool but there are no options to check or start recovery?
I did replace the disk offline.
Thank you

Re: HP Smart Array P410i Controller Replacement Recovery
When I go into the configuration utility I get the following:
All drives show as OK
This is the status:
Logical Drive # 1, RAID 50, 5588,9 GB, Status RECOVERING, PGC 2
Thank you.
