Redundant Fibre Channel HSG-60

Is it possible to do a failover between the 2 fibre channels on one
HSG-60 Controller ?
We have only one HSG-60 controller, so there is no possibility for a multiple-bus or a transparent failover mode.
If not ,what is the reason for the second port in a single HSG-60 configuration?
The firmware is version V85L-0 / E12
