Can I install Windows 2003 on a New Hard Drive with iLO?.

I just posted the following at the Proliant Server forum, but this is probably a better forum for my question.

My supervisor seems to thinks I can remotely rebuild a DL 360 G4 server after the hard drive that failed is replaced. Since it has nothing on it now, the only thing I can think of is connecting through iLO.

It has two hard drives and one failed yesterday saying "Non-System Disk or disk error".

I would have thought this was a mirrored configuration and one drive dying would not bring the system down?

Anyway, is there a method (documentation) o show how to rebuild this server once the bad hard drive is replaced?

Thanking you in advance,

Well, you might have corrupted windows boot record etc. You could try first repair Windows installation.

But for that you need ILO and virtual media too.

Do you have ILO advanced license ?
Mount Windows ISO to virtual media and open console and start install..

No advanced iLO, in fact I am trying to get someone Local to connect iLO. He wasn't even sure there was an iLO slot. I assured him there was.
I am in Maryland and server is in Massachusetts.
They sent me a phot of the console screen and of the red LED on Dive in slot 1.
Hopefully I'll get some answers tomorrow as I haven't been able to get any today.
