DL360 ILO show mac
Is there a way to get the port 1 mac address from the cli? I only see a way to get the ILO mac which is *NOT* what I need :-(
Specifically I'm looking to grab the CLI version of the WEB data (below).
Port 1 NIC MAC address: 00:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

Re: DL360 ILO show mac
Hi Keith,
That info is not available from the iLO2 CLI.
Is the server MAC all the info you're trying to return? There are other ways to retrieve that without going through the iLO2 CLI...

Re: DL360 ILO show mac
yes I'm simply attempting to acquire the mac via CLI, in order to run some perl automation on the DL360/DL580 series systems.

Re: DL360 ILO show mac
You might want to check out the CONREP utility, I believe it can pull MAC info by interacting with the RBSU.
It is available from the HP SmartStart Scripting Toolkit.
good luck
