Enable ILO without reboot & How to tell if ILO enabled?
I have some servers that we can;t reboot and we need ILO enabled.
I've run hponcfg to program the cards and they still don't work.
I suspect that ILO may be disabled but how can I determine that?
When I look on the HP management home page, I don;t see anything that says ILO is disabled. There are a couple of items for the management processor:
Integrated Lights-Out = shows icon = green check
Embedded NEC98431 = shows icon= blue ?, status = enabled, link status = unknown
thanks

Re: Enable ILO without reboot & How to tell if ILO enabled?
Is this a Windows server? If so you can check Device Manager and look at the Multifunction Adapter section for the iLO proc.
Does HPONCFG report that no ilo card was found?
Does HPONCFG report that no ilo card was found?
