I am experiencing a problem in forcing a crash dump on a BL465c using Hotkeys via iLO2 (f/w 1.3)
I have enabled the appropriate registry keys (KB244139) and applied the appropriate hotfix for the kbdhid.sys file.
I have set my CTRL-T HotKey to Right_Control + SCROLL LOCK + SCROLL LOCK.
The blade server will not crash.
Trying the keys by themselves, the server will not crash. (I dont believe the actual keystrokes get passed to the ilo session)
Has anybody else got this to work on a blade server, using iLO2 hotkeys?

Solution
Have you tried the virtual NMI button on the iLO Diagnostics page instead, to force a crash dump?
Not sure that a single hot key can have Scroll-Lock hit twice. You might need to use two hot keys for that. Also look at the Remote Console settings to see if key up/key down has an affect.

Re: Force Crash Dump via iLO2 hotkey on 465c Blade
Thanks for the info.
I was able to force the dump through the Consoel using the Dongle.
I tried the NMI in iLO diagnostics, but it didnt create a DUMP file for me.
