Simpler Navigation coming for Servers and Operating Systems
Coming soon: a much simpler Servers and Operating Systems section of the Community. We will combine many of the older boards, and you won't have to click through so many levels to get at the information you need. If you are looking for an older board and do not find it, check the consolidated boards, as the posts are still there.

Get associated server?

Ok... I know there is a way, since teh web interface displays the servers name. How can I ask a rib card to give me the name of the server it sits in?

Or the other way around. From the server, is there a way I can get the name if the rib card installed.

I need this to output to some file or command line. From the command line I can always output the text to a file.

Use the latest cpqlocfg and run the following script ... this will give you the name of the ilo/riloe, or riloe-ii in a server.
