ILO AD migration

I heard from some of my co-workers that if I want to migrate ILO into AD scheme, I need to get additional licenses. We already have Advanced ILO license, I read the instruction, well part of it, it didn't mention anything else. Anyone knows?

Directory support is a licensed feature.

If you already have iLO Advanced licensed, you do not need an additional license for directories.

Re: ILO AD migration

Thanks alot of the info! they are really helpful!

I do have another question though, one of the issues we have with ILO settings is that we have ppl that foget to reset the default password or type in the wrong password and we don't realize that until the sytem is having issues and we can't log in the OS anymore and the server is in remote sites, so we can't use HPONCFG to configure it. That is one of the reason we are planning to move to AD. But does anyone have any suggestion how we can automate reset ILO password process either during RD or maybe through AD? Thanks.
