Integrated Lights out configuration temporarily unavailable
Have a DL560 server and the integrated lights out configuration is temporarily unavailable.
It goes by it and then after loading the SMartstart, the screen blanks out. What should I do?

Re: Integrated Lights out configuration temporarily unavailable
I assume that you do not have RILOE/RILOE II installed.
I recommend the following 2 steps:
1) flash iLO firmware to the latest revision. Among other things, this also resets iLO, and will bring it back up.
This way will update for sure:
a) download the firmware from
http://www.hp.com/servers/lights-out
click on "iLO Standard" then "Software and Drivers", pick-and-click your OS. Select the Options ROMPAQ firmware upgrade diskette. And then punch out the floppies.
b) locate and set the iLO security override switch inside your server. The location is specified on the hood label.
c) Boot the server to the Rompaq diskettes and flash the firmware to the latest revision.
d) restore the iLO security override switch.
e) Reboot the server and enter iLO RBSU.
2) Use iLO RBSU and check the settings there. If anything is fishy, reset to factory defaults.

Re: Integrated Lights out configuration temporarily unavailable
I will try option 1 as I can't even get into the iLO rbsetup.

Re: Integrated Lights out configuration temporarily unavailable
I have the same problem with a newish DL380 G4. I'll try the system board firmware flash and advise if that resolves the problem.
