RILOE II Virtual Media on DL380 G3 Server

Hi,

I have problem for some DL380 G3 server to be able to boot from the Virtual Media CD.

Out of 4, only 1 able to recognize the Virtual Media and this is a DL380 G3 with 2.8GHz server, 1 is DL380 G3 with 3.2Ghz and the other 2 are DL380 G3 2.8GHz and 2.4GHz server.

What could be the reason? I had checked on the PCI Devices in RBSU and USB Controller is in the list but still it doesn't work.

Check for a current system ROM and iLO firmware.
You can view both through the iLO UI.

Hi acartes,

the server are at the latest ROM 09/15/2004 already and had been upgrade the RILOE II firmware to the latest version.

Somehow, the result still appear as 1 working and the other one not working.

The one with higher processor speed i.e. 3.2GHz is not working, but the other server with 2.8GHz is working well, that really puzzle me.
