Remote Insight PCI Board

I've got an 136344-001 Remote Insight PCI Board
with warning that this board is used only in supported PCI slots. What does this mean?

Is this sort of a catch all with a modem, lan, keyboard and video connectors? Kind of strange!!

Where could I find some literature on this?

Hi:

The board I have also has a modem on it. The modem is a card fax modem 56k Microcom 420.

The user manual does not address this being targeted at newer cards.

Any older information or knowledge about this unit?
