Unable to connect to iLO on a shared NIC when OS is loaded
Hello,
I have a:
- Microserver Gen8
- with iLO 4 v2.10
- and Windows 2012 R2
- with updated NIC driver,
I have set up the shared NIC option using static IP address (the one my ISP has given to me). The IP address settings in Windows are the same as in iLO. I even tried setting 100FDX setting instead of auto negotiation.
The iLO web interface is only available while the server is loading, as soon as the OS starts up the connection is lost.
How do I fix this? Thanks in advance.

Re: Unable to connect to iLO on a shared NIC when OS is loaded
Shared mode allows you to use one NIC port instead of two, but you need two IP addresses, one for iLO and one for the host.
