iLO not available
Hi,
we have a ProLiant DL360 G5 running Red Hat EL4 which we cannot access the iLO to. It's an open LDAP server that is one of two. The other is working correctly. I have reviewed other threads on this and was wondering if there was a resolution of course of action that didnt involve a system restart.
iLO cannon be accessed from the command line or the web gui and although the switch port for the iLO is up, the switch can not contact it. Guessing from the firmware on the other server this would be 1.29. It's been a while since we've used iLO on this box so there is no way of know when the issue originated.
Idential HP packages are installed on both servers:
hpacucli-7.61-2
rhpl-0.148.5-1
hpsmh-2.1.8-177
hponcfg-1.6.0-1
hprsm-7.6.0-106.rhel4
hpasm-7.7.0-115.rhel4
hp-OpenIPMI-7.8.0-83.rhel4
hpadu-7.72-2
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
Jason

Re: iLO not available
Suggest running the iLO 2 firmware update component. This will allow you to fetch the current iLO firmware version, and if you update the firmware, it will reboot iLO.
If the component cannot contact the iLO processor, this may mean that the box needs to be A/C power cycled as a possible mwans of resetting the iLO processor.
