ilo is hanging IE and firefox!
Hello,
I actually am having 2 problems with ilo right now..
1. (Error code: sec_error_reused_issuer_and_serial)
I get the above error using firefox (not IE). And when I go to add an exception in firefox I get a similar error, that the cert is bad.
2. the biggest problem I'm having is that even if I get past my first problem, ilo is causing both IE and firefox to freeze. I should clarify, I can log in to ilo, its when I try to launch the integrated remote console that it freezes the entire browser (have to 'end task' and restart browser). Using firefox version 3.5.5 and IE 8.0.7600.

Re: ilo is hanging IE and firefox!
for anyone else having this issue:
1. firefox certificate error: since the ilo certificate is 'self-signed' it is stored in the certificate authorities section (tools - options - advanced - encryption - view certificates - remove from the 'authorities' tab)
firefox still crashes... but thats the answer for fixing that error.
2. I got ilo working in IE simply by adding the ilo URL to my 'trusted zone', which is configured appropriately for this kind of app to run, at least on my server it is... so the issue was some IE security setting which was disallowed in the internet zone but allowed in the trusted sites zone.
Hope that helps someone else.
