ilo - <ctrl-alt-del> not working

I have a DL380 and am using integrated ilo. I can open remote-control and see the "please press ctrl-alt-del for login" screen. the mouse is working correctly, the button is not working. I am using a licenced version. please help.

Did you click the mouse within the remote console window to establish focus?

yes. I clicked the mouse within the remote console.

Thanks Sandeep, I checked your mentioned thread now, but I don't have connected virtual media. And I don't want to restart the server. I just want to login to windows.
thanks for further replies.

Re: ilo - <ctrl-alt-del> not working

Let me run-down the details:

You're running DL380 G?
Windows OS - what version?
iLO firmware: what version?
iLO Advanced is licensed.
Mouse works in remote console, but ctrl-alt-del does not affect the OS.

If you open the virtual media window, is the check-box, "Enable Virtual Media Multi-device connection" checked?

Is the "enable high performance mouse" checked in the remote console window?

Do you believe that the OS is alive?

Re: ilo - <ctrl-alt-del> not working

You're running DL380 G? -> G4
Windows OS - what version? -> Windows Server 2003 Enterprise, SP1
iLO firmware: what version? -> 1.88
iLO Advanced is licensed. -> yes!
Mouse works in remote console, but ctrl-alt-del does not affect the OS. -> that's correct.

If you open the virtual media window, is the check-box, "Enable Virtual Media Multi-device connection" checked? > No

Is the "enable high performance mouse" checked in the remote console window? -> I tried both: no difference if checked or not checked.

Do you believe that the OS is alive? -> I am sure, that the OS is alive. It is a productive systems and login throuhg terminal services is no problem

additional information: there is no keyboard and mouse connected locally on the server.

Re: ilo - <ctrl-alt-del> not working

In the meanwhile I found out, that no keyboard driver is loaded on this server. there is no "keyboard" entry in the device-list.
If a ps2-keyboard is connected locally on the server, it is not recognized.

does anybody know how to install the keyboard drivers even if no keyboard is attached?
thanks!
