post error 304 with RILOE
Hello,
I have a cust with ML370g1 with a Riloe and when he connects the mouse and keyboard on the Y cable of the RILOE, the internal cable in connected too, he has a post error 304 and keyboard and mouse doesn't work.
I found the advisory ES030219_CW02 but is for RILOE II and is not the same post error.
And the cust said me that he has other server with this configuration and them works well.
Somebody had the same pb?
Is iT a correct configuration for this server
ML370 G1 + RILOE + keyboard, mouse on the Y cable?
Thanks for the help
Marcello

Re: post error 304 with RILOE
Hey Marcello,
Try this first;
Upgrade the RILOE FW to the latest edition without any delay.There have been some significant functionality enhancements in the FW for the riloes.
Try this second;
1.Shut down the host.
2.Power down the server.
3.Take down the power cable from the riloe if its powered seperately.
4.Connect the riloe and power it up.
5.Power down the server and boot up the host.
What results do you get?
If this does'nt work try this:
1. Remove the 'Y' cable completely and see if works.
2. Otherwise, after removing the cable give the server a shutdown and then a startup and not a restart.
Hope this helps,
Don't forget to assign the points:)

Hey Marcello,
I have just confirmed that on a Proliant ML370 G2 we dont use the Y cable for mouse and keyboard and it works like a treat.
Hope this clarifies further.
