PRIMARY BOOT DISK FAILED

Hi everyone

My primary boot disk is failed , can anyone suggest me to get recover this problem
1.How to remove the primary boot disk

Do you have a software RAID?

Hi,


If you have a mirror disk you may boot with that and try to mount the faulty disk filesystems and recover/repair.

You may also boot thru the LINUX install CD, by typing "rescue" at linux prompt and boot...mount the filesystems from the faulty disk and recover/repair.

If it is a total H/W disk failure, then we wont be able to anything.
