Audit daemon exits, can it be config'd to alert the Sec Admin?

Can the auditing system on an 11i-v3 system be config'd to alert the Security Admin if it exits for any reason?

Or would this best be handled by a cron job?

Thx in advance for any/all responses.

Shalom,

cron job.

Perhaps use ps -ef |grep

to detect if the process is running.
