Changing fields in /etc/auth/system/default file

Can you tell me which fields need I change in file /etc/auth/system/default to set a password´s length to 6 characters and 90 days expiration´s password ? I´m using BASE security options.

You must have advanced security to do that.

Changing that file will have no effect in base security. It's only used by enhanced security. If you want to set up controls on password length, etc., you'll have to move the system to enhanced security. This is not difficult; see Appendix A of the Security Administration manual (http://www.tru64unix.compaq.com/docs/base_doc/DOCUMENTATION/V51B_HTML/ARH95ETE/TITLE.HTM) for more information.
