Enhanced Security - Password Complexity

Is there any way to set up password complexity so at least one alpha-numeric, one numeric, and one special character(!,#, etc) is require in the password?

I am running Tru64 v5.1B Enhanced Security

Thank you

Re: Enhanced Security - Password Complexity

You set the value:

d_pw_site_callout=/tcb/bin/site-pwpolicy

in the /etc/auth/system/default file.

'/tcb/bin/site-pwpolicy' is a C program that we modified that implements some password complexity checks. I'm not sure if you can use a script or if the program must be an executable binary. The original source is available in this thread:
