HI,

You can use /etc/ftpusers file for put any restrictions for any specific users.

Add whatever the user name in this file to not allow to use FTP.

Thanks

HI,

You can use /etc/hosts.allow. This file may be be used to allow or deny access to any hosts based on IP addresses.

TCP Wrappers is common utility everyone uses, using this package you can monitor and filter incoming requests for the SYSTAT, FINGER, FTP, TELNET, RLOGIN, RSH, EXEC, TFTP, TALK, and other network services.

Thanks

Hi,

On Tru64 5.1B, if you have Internet Express Kit CD, you can find IAETCPW600, which is TCP Wrapper package and install it.
