ISEE communications ports
When ISEE is configured on a client, what port number does it send and receive on?
When an ISEE server communicates with an ISEE client, what port number does it send and receive on?

Re: ISEE communications ports
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/services/hardware/info/isee_advconfig_security_wp.pdf
For sending messages to HP ISEE is using http
tcp
80
outbound
port 5060 connects to the user interface (internal).
See also
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/services/hardware/info/isee_client.pdf
"If you are not using a Web proxy server, you must open your firewall to allow
communication over port 80. The ISEE client software uses port 80 to send encrypted
data to HP and to receive acknowledgements and information in response to requests
from the ISEE client software."
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: ISEE communications ports
ISEE requires http port 80 (with established back). This is configured in your external firewall.
This port is for sending hardware events and MAPs to HP Backend.
When you make the outbound connection, HP will use the same connection and update your Server.
Hope this helps,

Re: ISEE communications ports
RECEIVES port 5060
SENDS port 80
Not exactly.
ISEE sends and receives on port 80.
The user interface (for you) is running on port 5060 - so you don't need to route this outside.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
