Please help in audit and few questions.
How to turn on audit in HP-UX 11 64bit and what is truted system environment. How do I turn it on and setup it up.
Second, in order for me to chack up the cpu disk space and memory usage that using the command such as "bdf" and "glance", is any way that can help like to write a shell script program to monitor it.
Thank you of all experts that can help.

Re: Please help in audit and few questions.
Hi:
Here's a document on Trusted systems.
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90121/B2355-90121.html
Glance is on of the best interactive products to monitor system performance. There is another companion to Glance called Measureware for collecting long-term metrics.
Once Glance has been installed you can find documentation in /opt/perf/paperdocs/gp/C/ and Measureware in /opt/perf/paperdocs/mwa/C/ Both these products require a license ($). Glance is available for a trial on 30-days free! It's on the Application CD(s) and is worth every penny!
Also see: http://ovweb.external.hp.com/lpe/doc_serv/
Other common tools include 'sar' and 'top'. 'sar' is often scripted. See the man pages for both.
Do a search in this forum for "performance" and you will find lots of threads to start you off.
