SMIME Tool installation in HP UX

Dear TEam,

We are planning to install SMIME Tool in HPUX 11..31 for encrypting the file which is being transfered to the client.

Kindly let me know the procedure and steps required for installing the SMIME Tool in HP UX and commands for encrypting /Decrypting the files using the Tool

   Which "the SMIME Tool" are we discussing?  Have you found one, or are
you looking for one?

   HP-UX 11.31 on which hardware type?  Actual output from "uname -a"
can be more helpful than vague descriptions or interpretations.

   Why S/MIME?  What, exactly, is the problem which you are trying to
solve?  There are many ways to transfer files securely.

We need to send some file to the vendor which needs to be encryped using SMIME tool.I need to know the procedure for installing the tool and also steps to be done for encrypting the files.

HP-UX  B.11.31 U ia64 unlimited-user license

Vendor will provide the SMIME tool as they are using this tool.

So whated to know how to configure it in the server .

You might have to request the vendor for instructions to install the tool, since they are providing this tool.

Hi i am looking for smime utility which comes with Openssl.

I dont have much knowlege abt encryption.Let me know if any one can help me with sharing some idea.

   Nor do I, which is why S/MIME would not be my first choice of
encryption schemes.

   Still wondering.  If you ask about S/MIME, then you may get
information about S/MIME.  If you ask how to transfer data/files in a
secure way, then you may get information about other methods (FTPS, SCP,
SFTP, GnuPG, ...).  What, exactly, is your goal?
