Hi All,
Help...We are migrating to a new L3000 today
and switching an apache application to Port
443.
We need SSL software installed and we need to
know where to get this and how to install.
We need to secure Port 443.

Solution
Hi,
Did you get the apache from HP or from downloaded freeware?
The apache from HP (see below link) has mod_ssl module (mod_ssl v.2.8.3) dynamically included which supports OpenSSL v.0.9.5a.
http://www.software.hp.com/cgi-bin/swdepot_parser.cgi/cgi/displayProductInfo.pl?productNumber=B9415AAPA1319
If you are using OpenSSL, follow instructions in the below link to generate a csr so that you can create an SSL certificate using OpenSSL.
http://www.ssl.com/Step1.asp
If you are re-compiling Apache with OpenSSL and/or other modules from scratch, then the following link explains step by step how you should perform the compilation and installation:

Hope this helps. Regards.

Re: SSL - We have a new HP-UX 11.0 and new SSL Software
Hi Laurie,
YOu can get Apache Strong from your application CDs. I guess it is on the 4th CD.
Also there is good information and links to documentation in the release notes under the apache main directory. That should help you.

You may be disappointed if you fail, but you are doomed if you don't try
