Secure Shell A.04.10.004/005 Installation on HP ux 11.11

Hi,
I'd like some clarity on " how to install ssh on hp ux 11.11".
What are all the system requirement it require ( patch level- recommendations are December 2002 Support Plus release / media + PHCO_26466, PHCO_33215 , PHCO_27740 ).

If anyone already installed the same, please share the steps used.

Hello Shameer,

We have been running SSH A.04.10.004 since its release + HPUX 11.11 Support Tools Bundle, Dec 2004 release.

Just download Secure Shell depot from http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=T1471AA
and gunzip it. Then, you can install it by # swinstall -s /path/to/T1471AA_A.04.10.004_HP-UX_B.11.11_32+64.depot

Hi Arun,
Thanks for reply. I already downloaded the same & I want to know any issue you faced after the installation of ssh.
I need to install ssh on a cluster environment ( 1* RP7420 * 1 * RP 7400), which is a very critical SAP setup. Will it affect the cluster configuration???

And also confirm me the minimum patch level

Hi Shameer,

My patch level is attached with this thread, [this is from the output of "show_patches"]. You can go ahead and install on clustered env, i dont see any issues with that.

I recommend you to understand little bit of ssh/sftp/scp keyboard inetractive/keybased authentication before proceed to do setup ssh.Open ssh installation on hpux is fairly simple.You may also have to consider security risk invloved.
