Tru64 5.1b and OpenSSH

Does anyone know if OpenSSH that comes bundled with Tru64 5.1b has been compiled with TCPD (tcp wrapper) support?

Thanks,
sd

Re: Tru64 5.1b and OpenSSH

Hi Sally,

The ssh that was integrated into V5.1b is not OpenSSH, it is a customized version based on ssh.com. It was not compiled with tcpwrapper support. We recommend customers to use the capabilities built in to SSH itself, i.e. the AllowHosts and DenyHosts options

Re: Tru64 5.1b and OpenSSH

Just as a note, do not install the SSH webkit pointed to at the URL above on Tru64 V5.1B. Doing so is not supported and will cause problems when applying Base OS patch kits. SSH for Tru64 V5.1B is upgraded through the normal patch process on V5.1B.

Thanks.
