Tru64 Ssh overwites Openssh

How do I keep openssh from being overwritten (it starts instead of openssh) when I patch/upgrade my tru64 servers?

Re: Tru64 Ssh overwites Openssh

I've run into the same thing. We keep our OpenSSH installation under /usr/local and the ssh startup script in /sbin/init.d/sshd2 and then after patching or upgrading do the following:

#mv /sbin/init.d/sshd /sbin/init.d/sshdDONOTUSE
#ln -s /sbin/init.d/sshd2 /sbin/rc3.d/S99sshd2

This has the advantage of keeping the HP provided components around in case some future patch or upgrade requires the originally installed files to be put back in place.
