I like to install ssh2 3.2.0 F-secure ssh on a PA-RISC box ...which is running 11.23. But it already has T1471AA secure shell.How do i get ssh2 work on this box.thanks in advance.

Solutionmv /opt/ssh /opt/ssh_old
swinstall
it should work with new ssh version.If any problem you can easily fail back with the /opt/ssh_old.This is how i upgrade the ssh.What u r going to try is also an update to ssh
you can try it in a test environment first.

Just remember to NEVER apply any further patches to secsh after this. Beware of any bundles that may contain updates such as quality packs.
Also you may need to:
rm /sbin/init.d/S393secsh

"F-Secure SSH" is now called "Reflection for Secure IT". It is commercial software ($) that you must purchase.

A popular alternative, OpenSSH, is open source. An 11.23 depot is available here:
