CMU monitoring alert takes more than 5 seconds to complete
Hello all.
We need to monitor the ILO IML in the compute nodes using the CMU monitoring utility.
We have introduced and ALERT in order to detect new lines in the IML of the compute nodes, sometimes works but others not.
The problem seems to be that the script (the one that runs remotelly in each compute node) takes (sometimes) more than 5 seconds to complete.
Is this possible?
Can we change this behaviour in order to have alert scripts that take more than 5 seconds to complete?
Best Regards

Re: CMU monitoring alert takes more than 5 seconds to complete
Hi,
You can try changing the "Time multiple" value for this particluar alert and see if it works.
Time multiple - integer value that determines when the sensors are monitored.
If the monitoring has a default timer of 5 seconds:
• A time multiple of 1 means the value is monitored every 5 seconds.
• A time multiple of 2 means the value is monitored every 10 seconds.
Please refer section "6.5 Customizing HPE Insight CMU monitoring, alerting, and reactions" in CMU v7.3.2 user guide for more details.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Alok
