Firware versions in a Cluster

I have just started in a role and have found the Firmware versions of the individual nodes within the cluster are very different. DL380 G5

Can anyone please direct me towards documentation which will show justification for having to update the lagging node as a matter of urgency?

Re: Firware versions in a Cluster

The way I understand it, its not an emergency that the Servers have diffrent FW versions. You should check the changelog of the firmware you are lagging behind in and see if there are any Critical alerts.

It's recommended to have clusternodes as equal as possible to match performance, stability and behavior when the cluster fails over to the other node..

Does not apprear to be a requirement but rather a best practice. Will shift it down the priority list accordingly.

Thanks for reply.
