SAN MAS-2040 failing windows server cluster validation
Hi,
Wondering if you can help with the following issue?
Aim is to establish windows server 2016 failover cluster by using 2 x HP DL360 g10 & MSA-2040 with having HPE 640FLR-SFP28 - network adapter (MPN: 817749-B21) one in each server and direct attached 4 x HPE network cable - 3 m (MPN: J9283B).
NO SAN switch
It appears to all setup fine, both servers (Svr1 and Svr2) can individually see the SAN and configured through iSCSI perfectly ok
But
Svr1 can’t connect (or can’t see or can’t ping) to the port of Svr2 which is connected to the SAN and vice versa.
Hence windows server failover cluster validation test fails and we cannot continue.
Hope this make sense?
Look forward to hear form you
Any help with this will be highly appriciated.
Best regards
