Win 2K3 auto shutdown to Linux on power fail
I'm running a cluster in which I have a DL360 (Windows 2003 server) running the HP Power monitor for our R3000 XR UPS. Our R3000 does not have a network card. Attached to the same UPS I have a DL380 (RHEL 4).
I would like to have both systems shutdown gracefully in the event of a power failure. The HP Power manager successfully initiates the shutdown of the DL360, I'm a little lost on how to initiate the shutdown of the DL380 in this setup. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
-KC
