Insight manager JAVA checking hangs

Insight manager JAVA checking hangs

Hello,

we have installed insight Manager 7 on a ML350 with Windows Server 2003, Sp1.

Now the insight manager hangs at startup with the message:
"Please wait. Checking for a Java Plug-in"

How can I solve this ?

you could:
- check java version (you need JRE 1.3.1_02)
- clear java cache (ctrlpanel -> java -> cache -> clear cache)

Hello,

we had jJRE 1.4.2_06 installed before.
Now I installed JRE 1.3.1_16, but there was no change.
After that i installed JRE 1.4.2_05 and made a update to the latest version 1.5.0_02.

Now it works, i get the login screen !!
