Rib Board - Removal of Admin Account
In configuring the rib boards in the past, I was able to go in and delete the admin acct. and then add my own admin. acct. I tried that with the new onboard RIB and now I can't get into it at all. After doing a big "doh" I figured I needed to find out if there was a way to reset the default settings. Thanks for your time - Karla

Re: Rib Board - Removal of Admin Account
Karla,
1) You can reset the iLO by doing a shutdown and removing all power cords to the server.
2) You can reset the iLO security settings (going back to the default administrator account and password as mentioned on the lugage tag or even without an account) by doing the following:
1) power off server
2) locate iLO security override switch (see your server manual for location)
3) set the switch and power on server (1 minute)
4) power off server again
5) set security switch back to original position
6) power on server and try to logon to iLO board
7) create new users
