Timeouts when Configuring

Howdy all,
I am currently working on the project of upgrading our current IM to 7. In the testing process, I cannot get IM to stay connected it seems. I haven't even been able to config the darn thing yet because when I try it keeps timing out. I've tried just about everything I can think of (Reinstall-fresh install. Rebuilding the box entirely) and it still times out. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Are these timeouts seen in the browser? If so, check to see if there is a proxy server configured in the browser and try disabling the "use proxy server" setting in the browser if that is the case.
