Bug - Firmware - Intergrated Lights Out v2.07 (CP015840.exe)

After we upgrade the firmware cp015840.exe (HP ILO Firmware) the ILO page truns Japneese language and unable to revert the lanugage pack to english. Please confirm is this the bug or is it designed to Japneese Language?

To fix this isssue, I have installed cp015686.exe (HP ILO FW V.2.07) released in August-2011.

CP015840 and CP015841, is the Japanese versions.

CP015686 and CP015687 is the english versions.

How did you come to install the wrong packages?

I have just seen the wrong package in HP SIM repository, Wich caursed the same problem.

And yes, reflashing with the english version fixes the problem.

The version control agent of all clients shows the Japanese version only (CP015840.exe). How can we cahnge this in the respository to reflect the english version (CP015686.exe)?

Sorry, I have been away for a while.

We have not solved our problem with the repository yet, but we haven't tried.

We will try to figure it out. I will share my findings with you.

We are having the same issue.  Did you find a fix for your repository?

Yes and no.

I have been advised not to try to remove it. Removal will course incomplete FW base line.

Leave it there, and just don't click on it.

So that's what we are doing.
