DL140 G3 remote access Raid Configuration
We have DL140 G3 Servers that we are trying to change the raid configuration on. We are using the virtual KVM features of the Lo 100i interface. We have SAS drives in the machines and the option to press F8 to access the raid configuration is not coming up. Are there any tricks to get into this?
(I know we are a few revisions behind on the BIOS and Lo 100i firmware, but I couldn't get it to boot of the virtual media to update either one. So any help that way would be appreciated as well)
Thanks

hi
I would say try clearing CMOS so that needs someone onsite, page 72

Re: DL140 G3 remote access Raid Configuration
It looks like it might be a hardware problem with the given server. Out of frustration, I decided to check with another server and it brought up the prompt. Is there anyway to verify if the SAS card is bad or not remotely?

Re: DL140 G3 remote access Raid Configuration
hi
my recommendations would be try updating BIOS just in case
http://tinyurl.com/25vns9
and check this for your LSI SAS controller
