I have two DL-360 G2 server with RedHat 5 installed.
I have a problem with ILO2, when I request a poweroff the server is powered down but after 30sec the server is autonomously powered on. Instead if I launch a shutdown from linux (shutdown -h now) the server stay powered off.
ILO firmware is updated to last rel. 1.42 .
Thanks to all and sorry for my english.

Re: ILO poweroff problem
DL360 G2 is an iLO1 server. The latest fw for iLO1 is 1.91.

Re: ILO poweroff problem
Sorry but servers are a pair of DL-365 G2 and not DL-360, I mistyped.
I checked the setting and "Automatically Power On Server" is yet set to NO.

Re: ILO poweroff problem
Can you confirm what iLO firmware you are using on this host? iLO 2 v1.42 or later?
How do you request a shutoff? Browser/command line/OS/other ? What type of shutoff are you using? For example, there is a restart option, and what user interface are you using?
Can you check the iLO event log to see information related to the nature of the shutoff/restart and if iLO was used to initiate it. There can be other power-on triggers such as wake-on-LAN, etc.
