ILO3 sysrq on virtual serial port

Hi,

I wonder if someone managed to send a sysrq via vsp to a ILO3 managed linux machine, the corresponding ttyS0 (in our case) is defined as primary console in grub.conf

In ILO2 this was possible with ESC+CTRL+B plus the key need "h" for help.

thanks,

Hello,

In order to check the commands for the ILO3 Please refer the link:

http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c02063192/c02063192.pdf

You will be able to check all require details.

Re: ILO3 sysrq on virtual serial port

Integrated Lights-Out 3 Virtual Serial Port configuration and operation HOWTO is not very helpful, it only states "iLO firmware version 1.1x supports Linux SysRq commands using the VSP" but the actual key sequence seems to be missing from this doc.

Re: ILO3 sysrq on virtual serial port

What iLO3 firmware do you have? I'm told that the SysRq support was added in version 1.20.

Re: ILO3 sysrq on virtual serial port

"ESC CTRL+b h" works for me with iLO3 1.26.

Oscar, could you perhaps update the documentation? I did not find the key sequence described anywhere in the VSP HOWTO... Thanks.
