IPMI over LAN on iLO2 Std 1.43

Hello!

Is it possible to query the iLO2 remotely using the IPMI interface with the ipmitool/openipmi package?
I mean something like this:
./ipmitool -I lan -H 10.1.2.3 -U username fru

No. For security reasons no IPMI access over the LAN is allowed. Preferred method is to use secure shell to connect to iLO and execute the industry-standard SMASH command line protocol.
